High schoolers kicked out of Walmart for singing carols

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A group of students singing Christmas carols inside an Oregon Walmart store were kicked out and told if they didn't leave police would be called.

KOBI-TV reported the students from Henley High School were at the Klamath Falls store and began singing near cash registers in the front of the store.

A woman was recording the singing on her cell phone when the carolers abruptly stopped and the group broke up. You can hear the woman say "are you serious?" after a voice off-camera said police would be called.

A manager at the store would not comment on Thursday evening's incident.

For those wondering, the students left and headed to a nearby grocery store "where they were welcomed and allowed to sing," the station reported.
