Hit-and-Run Victim Possibly Lying in Road

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police say the 17-year-old girl found dead on Charleston Boulevard may have been sitting or lying down in the roadway before she was killed.

Alexis Monasterio was found dead on March 17 after she had been struck by a vehicle. According to Metro Police, new witnesses have come forward with additional information that corroborates with physical evidence to indicate Monasterio was sitting or lying down when she was struck.

Police are currently reviewing videos from local businesses which show several vehicles in the area at the time of the incident.
