Hyperloop One reaches 192 mph in Nevada track test

LAS VEGAS - Although it's still in its testing phase, Hyperloop One is already making history.

Last weekend, the companies' first Hyperloop pod clocked in at 192 miles-per-hour, while traveling nearly the full distance of a 500 meter test track in Nevada.

It was part of the phase 2 testing of the integrated structure that will send cargo, and eventually people, through the a tube at upwards of 800-miles-per hour.

Hyperloop One's goal is to have three systems in service by 2021.
