An iconic strip property was just sold for a staggering price.  According to Clark County records, the Bonanza Gift & Souvenir Shop was sold for $50 million.

Bonanza Gift & Souvenir Shop, located on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara Avenue, has been in that spot forever.

According to Clark County records, the self-proclaimed 'world's largest gift shop' property was sold Friday to an area businessman.

The selling of the Bonanza Gift Shop is just one of many changes to the north end of the Las Vegas Strip.  The Lucky Dragon is set to host their grand opening in December.  The World Resorts is also slowly coming together on the north end.
However, shoppers at the Bonanza Gift & Souvenir Shop who 8 News NOW spoke with said, the store has been around for ages, so they hope the new owner will keep things the same.

"I mean me and my sister have been shopping here for a long time, and we just love it," said Kristina Holland, a shopper.  "Hopefully, the new owners don't change it up. Well, they can change it a little, but hopefully, it stays here."

There's no word yet on what will happen with the property.
