James is a strong teenage candidate for adoption.

Las vegas, NV - Today's Wednesday's Child is 16, but he seems wise beyond his years.  Dave Courvoisier says for a guy who's had more bad breaks than most kids his age, he's really got his head on straight.

We're back on the LINQ High Roller.  Last week, we featured Luis, and this week -- in a totally separate case -- we have James.  So much respect for this young man, who's probably had 13 or more foster homes in his life.

"It’s been a ride, but I mean it’s been okay I’ve had some good foster parents I’ve had some bad ones, I’ve had a lot (chuckles)," says James.

James has learned the hard way to deal with his anger, and now he's in control.

"It just took a while to learn and after I got it down I was able to use it more often and I was able to like maintain control. Now I’m just like a lot better than I used to be at that so I really haven’t had the incidences with it so I’m doing good.," adds James.

James was fascinated with the high roller, cause he wants to go into architecture when he graduates High School.

"He does have big plans, right now were trying to get something arranged at UNLV so he knows the requirements of what he needs to do to in the next two years of high school to be able to be accepted into UNR and UNLV," says Phyllis, James' case worker.

That shouldn't be a problem.  Phyllis says James is outgoing and has wide interests.

"James likes everything, he likes to go camping, he likes to play football and in his next year in school he wants to play rugby, he loves to read and draw, and he likes videogames as well but overwhelmingly he really likes to read," claims Phyllis.

James is open about his wish to be adopted.

"I mean all of my friends that I’m friends with know that I’m in the system, and I mean they don’t really care, I’m still is equal with them as they are with me. It’ll really think it’s any different," says James.

"And again he would love to be adopted and have that family, he really seeks that, and unfortunately we’ve just been unable to locate a family for him," adds Phyllis.

James is free and clear for adoption into the right loving family.  Make the call now to the Adoption Exchangto get the process started:  702-436-6335.
