Johnsonville Turkey Sausage Recalled

Wisconsin-based Johnsonville Sausage is recalling some packages of turkey sausage with cheddar cheese because the product may include pieces of glove.

Nearly 50,000 pounds of turkey sausage are being recalled after it was discovered the product may contain pieces of gloves.

The sausage in question is sold as Johnsonville Turkey Sausage with Cheddar, in a 13.5 ounce package. The packages can be identified by establishment number "EST. P-34224" inside the USDA mark of inspection and the best by date "08/20/2012 2." The product was produced on May 22, and was distributed to stores nationwide.

Nearly 49,000 pounds of product is being recalled. So far, two complaints have come in about the product, with no reported injuries. Anyone with concerns about an injury is asked to contact a medical provider.
