LAS VEGAS - Authorities in California have arrested a suspect in connection to a deadly shooting June 13 in Las Vegas.
Detectives identified 29-year-old Delon Holston as the suspect and was taken into custody June 17 in Inglewood, California without incident. Holston will be extradited back to Clark County and faces two counts of Murder with use of a Deadly Weapon, Attempted Murder and Robbery with use of a Deadly Weapon.
Metro Police say at approximately 3:28 a.m., officers responded to the 4100 block of Silver Dollar Avenue to investigate reports of a shooting. Investigators located a small sedan with three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The driver and front passenger were pronounced deceased on scene and the other victim was transported to University Medical Center Trauma in critical condition.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as 36-year-old Jason Harvey and 31-year-old Tory Levice Barnett.
The investigation initiated by Metro Homicide indicated the three victims were inside of the vehicle with Holston. At some point, all three victims were shot while inside of the vehicle.
Evidence at the scene indicates the vehicle was in motion after the shooting and impacted a utility pole causing it to stop.
