Las Vegas man takes plea deal in death of his son

LAS VEGAS -- A man charged in the child abuse death of his son has taken a plea deal.

Jonathan Quisano, 26, has agreed to an Alford plea, which means he does not admit guilt but agrees the prosecution has enough evidence to convict him of one count of voluntary manslaughter and one count of child abuse with substantial bodily harm.

The victim, 3-year-old Khayden Quisano died in 2013 while being watched by his father. Doctors say the child had two skull fractures, severally bruised lungs and lacerated spleen.

Court records show Quisano could be sentenced to between two and 30 years for his role in the child's death.
