Las Vegas Woman Attacked By Swarm of Bees

It wasn't the heat but the bees that forced a Las Vegas woman from her home Tuesday night. The woman says she was attacked by a swarm of bees as she tried to get inside her home. She got inside, but fire crews were surprised by what they found when they got there.

"Opened up part of the house and the wall found an area approximate 6 foot by three foot containing literally tens of thousands of bees that had made their home and were making honey and living inside that wall space," said Greg Cassell of Clark County Fire Department.

Fire crews say no one was seriously hurt.

They used foam to attack the massive bee hive but say an exterminator still needs to come out and make sure the bees are gone for good.
