Las Vegas woman remembered for sharing her fight against Crohn's disease

LAS VEGAS - A young woman who turned her pain into purpose sharing her struggle with Crohn's disease has passed away.

You may recall Dana Marshall-Bernstein. She created a documentary called "Semi-colon: The Adventures of Ostomy Girl."

She lived with the disease that attacks the digestive system since the age of three. She passed away Sunday at the age of 28.

Our condolences to her family, and her father, Ed Bernstein, a well known Las Vegas attorney and long time Channel 8 partner and sponsor.

A celebration of life memorial service is planned for Thursday.
