Local 7-year-old lives out her dream at World Series

LAS VEGAS, NV - 7-year-old Las Vegas local, Hailey Dawson, has captured the hearts of the nation.

She was born with a birth defect that left her missing three fingers on her right hand.

UNLV's Engineer Department stepped in after her mother, Yong Dawson, reached out to see what they could do to help. They built Hailey a hand with a 3-D printer.

A lover of baseball, she made it her goal to throw out a pitch at every Major League Ballpark. In September, the World Series reached out to her. She was given the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at game 4 of the World Series.
