Location announced for only televised debate for U.S. Senate seat

The televised debate between the two front runners in Nevada's Senate race will be held at Canyon Springs High School in North Las Vegas.

KLAS-TV and KINC-TV Univision/Entravision will host the hour-long debate between Democratic former Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto and Republican Rep. Joe Heck. Both candidates have agreed on a format.

The debate will take place on Friday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. and air on Channel 8. It will also be carried live on KTVN in Reno.
