LAS VEGAS - Forty years of award winning show choir, together in one production, in "What's Cool at School."
Las Vegas High School proudly presents 40 years of Spectrum, their award winning show choir, with a production called "Time Warp."
The show opened Thursday night, and continues this weekend. I caught up with the choir during a recent rehearsal, where they were putting in as much as six hours a day....to be stage-ready!
Spectrum was started in 1976, with their first production in the Spring of 1977.
That 40th anniversary being honored with the past, present, and future of Spectrum.....all in one production, on one stage!
In addition to talented Las Vegas High School students; alumni and previous performers from the past four decades of Spectrum will be joining them - singing, dancing, even conducting.
That rich tradition of excellence is a reminder of the importance of arts in the lives of future generations.
Something else to likely continue: friendships. This is more than just high school students performing together. Among the show choir, there is real connection.
Catch the show through May 13th at Las Vegas HIgh School!
