Man, Child Seriously Injured in Crash at Craig and Lamb

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- A 19-year-old and young boy were transported to the hospital with critical injuries following a crash Friday afternoon at the intersection of Craig Road and Lamb Boulevard, North Las Vegas Police said.

The crash happened around 1:30. The Honda, with the juvenile and young boy inside, was struck by a Ford F250 truck. The driver of the truck was uninjured, police said.

The young boy has been stabilized while the 19-year-old remains critically injured after suffering extensive head trauma.

The driver of the Ford was uninjured.

Investigators suggests the child was not in a car seat and speed may have been a factor on part of the Honda driver.

It is unknown if anyone will face charges at this time, the investigation is still ongoing.
