Man Held in LA Killing of 4 has Criminal Past

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A man suspected of killing four people at a Los Angeles home has a violent criminal past and authorities were seeking his arrest for violation probation days before the shootings.

Thirty-one-year-old Ka Pasasouk and three alleged accomplices agreed Thursday to be transferred from Las Vegas to LA to face charges in the weekend killings outside an unlicensed boarding house in Northridge.

They were arrested at a hotel less than 24 hours after the slayings.

Police haven't revealed a motive.

Court records show that Pasasouk has criminal convictions dating back to 2004 for drug possession, auto theft, robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.

A probation official says at the time of the killings, officials were seeking an arrest warrant because Pasasouk had violated his probation for a drug arrest.
