Man indicted on charges connected to Strip shooting

LAS VEGAS -- A Las Vegas man has been indicted in connection with a shooting on the Strip in May.

The Clark County grand jury indicted Will Carter on one count of attempted murder with use of a deadly weapon, one count of battery with use of a deadly weapon resulting in substantial bodily harm, one count of carrying a concealed firearm or other deadly weapon, two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure.

According to court documents, Carter shot Darius Carroll in the thigh on May 10. The shooting happened outside the Planet Hollywood hotel-casino, which is why he is facing charges of shooting into a building.
