Metro Police are searching for an attempted armed robbery suspect in northeast Las Vegas.

Investigators say in the afternoon hours on Sept. 27, police responded to a business complex in the 700 block of North Nellis Boulevard when a victim was opening the door to a car and the male suspect demanded her purse.

The female victim screamed and another witness yelled at the suspect. At that point, the suspect walked away without any of the victim’s property, according to police.

The male suspect is described as a thin black male adult with short black hair standing approximately 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, light-colored shorts and dark shoes.

He may also be connected to multiple robberies occurring recently in northeast Las Vegas.
