Man suspected of November homicide arrested

LAS VEGAS - Metro Police says it has arrested the person responsible for killing a man outside an apartment complex downtown Las Vegas on Nov. 25.

Denfield Wright, 37 was arrested Wednesday.  According to police, around 1:04 p.m. officers received a call about gunshots heard in the 2100 block of Sunrise Avenue.

When officers arrived at the scene, they said they found an unconscious man lying in front of an apartment complex with multiple gunshot wounds

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  After investigating further, Metro discovered that the victim was actually shot
inside an apartment before he was dragged outside by a woman later identified as 24-year-old Porchay Banks.

Banks was arrested and is being held at the Clark County Detention Center.  She faces one count of Accessory to Murder.

The alleged shooter, Wright, is also being held at the Clark County Detention Center.  He faces one count of Open Murder.
