Man, woman wanted for questioning in animal abuse case

LAS VEGAS - The Nye County Sheriff's Office is looking to question two Pahrump residents about five dogs that were found to be in various stages of physical neglect, suffering from malnutrition and injuries.

Detectives and Animal Control officers went to the property in the 3000 block of Leonard Street on Dec. 27 to follow up on a complaint of animal abuse and neglect and immediately found two severely emaciated dogs on the property.

The residents who were not at the property were identified as Keith Holman and Kristin Pfaff. The dogs have been removed from the property for treatment. 

According to the sheriff's office, investigators also found evidence narcotics possession and sales on the property.
