Metro police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left one man dead.

This happened just before 11 p.m. last night near the intersection of St. Louis Ave. and Fremont St.

Police say the victim was walking down the street when he was approached by a light-colored 4-door sedan.

A person inside fired several shots at the victim.

The car then took off down olive street.

The victim was taken to UMC where he was later pronounced dead.

Anyone with any information on the suspect is asked to call crime stoppers at (702)-828-3521.

This is the 100th homicide in metro's jurisdiction.
