Metro Police hopes sketch will help identify teen killed, burned

LAS VEGAS - Metro Police released a composite sketch of the teen whose burned body was found at an apartment complex in the 700 block of Rock Springs Drive an apartment.  The area is near the busy Spaghetti Bowl freeway interchange.

Officer Laura Meltzer said Monday that a resident in the area found the body Saturday morning after noticing burn marks on a wall in a remote corner of the complex.

An autopsy of the body is being conducted by the Clark County Coroner's office to determine how she died. Meltzer says the teen was female, bout 5-foot-4 and 100 pounds. She appeared to have been between 16 and 20 years old.
