Metro Police investigating hit-and-run on Maryland Pkwy. near Vegas Valley

LAS VEGAS, NV - Metro Police are looking for a driver in connection with a hit-and-run crash Tuesday morning that left a motorcyclist with critical injuries.

Police say a motorcyclist was hit by a sedan near Vegas Valley and Maryland Parkway just after 5 a.m.

The driver fled the scene and abandoned the car about a block away. Police say the driver is believed to be a woman in her 20's and she was driving a black Nissan Altima.

The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with critical injuries.
