LAS VEGAS - Metro Police needs the public's help in locating two to three pharmacy burglary suspects. According to officers, beginning in May of 2017 several suspects committed burglaries to pharmacies across the valley.
Officers say there are over 20 incidents this group is believed to be responsible for.
Metro says the suspects are known to arrive at the businesses in the early morning hours, but they would enter the business by breaking the glass doors or prying them open.
The surveillance photos shows the suspects emptying large quantities of controlled prescription drugs into trash cans, before immediately fleeing the scene in a waiting vehicle.
According to police, the types of drugs taken were Schedule II narcotics such as, but not limited to, Oxycodone, Promethazine with Codeine and Xanax.
All of the suspects wore dark clothing, gloves, and masks or hoodies pulled over their heads.
Anyone with any information about these incidents, or with any information about the identities or whereabouts of any involved suspects, is urged to contact the LVMPD
Enterprise Area Command Patrol Investigations Section at 702-828-4809. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 702-385-5555, or on the internet at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
