LAS VEGAS - Parking rates are going up at some Las Vegas Strip properties starting Jan. 31.
MGM Resorts International confirmed it's raising rates at its properties at the end of the month. The rates will vary depending on the property.
The rates at Ultra-Luxury properties such as the Aria, Bellagio and Vdara will be free for the first hour of self-parking and then charge from $9 to $18 for two to 24 hours. Valet will cost $21 to $30 for two to 24 hours.
The Luxury properties: Delano, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand Las Vegas, The Mirage, Monte Carlo/Park MGM, New York New York will not charge for the first hour of self-parking but then charge from $9 to $15 for two to 24 hours. Valet will cost from $16 to $24 for two to 24 hours.
The core properties: Luxor and Excalibur will offer the first hour of self parking free and then charge from $6 to $10 for two to 24 hours. Valet will cost from $12 to $16 for two to 24 hours. All self-parking at Circus Circus remains free. The charge for valet parking is the same as the other two properties.
