MGM Resorts issues open letter of heartbreak and gratitude

LAS VEGAS - Sentiments and support have been pouring into the City of Las Vegas ever since a long gunman decided to open fire and claim the life of 58 people at a country music festival Sunday night.

The incident which is being called the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history occurred at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on the Las Vegas Strip. Nearly, 500 other people were injured.

It happened at Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino which is owned by MGM Properties.  The company penned this open letter of sorts detailing heartbreak and gratitude.
