One of the famed dolphins at the 'Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat' at the Mirage Hotel and Casino has died.
"The Mirage has lost a beloved member of our dolphin family. Beetle, a 12-year-old male bottlenose dolphin, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015. The cause is being evaluated by pathology specialists. We will all miss Beetle very much."
Beetle joined the habitat in spring 2010 from another aquatic facility.
