Missing, Injured Hiker Found on Mt. Charleston

LAS VEGAS -- An injured hiker who was missing on Mt. Charleston has been found.

According to police, the hiker was found just before 6:45 p.m. Thursday, and he is going to okay.

Police search and rescue teams were looking for him in the area of Mary Jane Falls.

He was reported missing at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Two hikers were in the area, when one hiker was injured.

The hiker that wasn't hurt went to get help, but when they returned, they could not find the other hiker.

Mary Jane Falls is the same area where Metro Officer David Vanbuskirk fell to his death during a rescue last month.
