More personal property from Route 91 concert released

LAS VEGAS - The FBI is releasing more personal items collected from the field where the Route 91 concert shooting took place on Oct. 1.

Thousands of items, including clothes and cell phones, were left behind as people fled for their lives.

The FBI has divided the concert area into different sections and did release items Sunday to 99 people who were in Section A. Items are now being released to people who were in Section B.

The FBI has received nearly 800 requests for items. The FBI is working as quickly as it can to sort through the items.

People looking to retrieve their items can go to the Family Assistance Center at the Convention Center  at Paradise Road and Convention Center Drive. That center is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The center will remain there until Oct. 20 and then move to a long-term site which will be announced later.
