NDOT: MLK Blvd between Bonanza and southbound U.S.95 to close Tuesday

LAS VEGAS - The Nevada Department of Transportation will close Martin Luther King Boulevard in both directions between Bonanza Road and southbound U.S. Highway 95 Tuesday, Jan. 10.

The closure will take place from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., Jan. 11. The Martin Luther King Boulevard onramp to U.S. 95 northbound will also be closed during the time frame.

The temporary closures are required to place bridge deck panels for Project Neon.  Project Neon is a nearly $1 billion 3.7-mile-long widening of Interstate 15 from the U.S. 95 interchange to Sahara Avenue.

Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate routes, if possible.

Check the Project Neon website (NDOTProjectNeon.com) or Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter pages (@NDOTProjectNeon) for up to date information on Project Neon.

There is also a hotline available in both English and Spanish at 702-293-NEON (6366).
