NDOT reopens Spaghetti Bowl closures

LAS VEGAS - The Nevada Department of Transportation re-opened the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 95 to the southbound Interstate 15 ramp early Sunday morning.

The purpose of the closures were to shift the two lanes on the ramp to the east in preparation for the demolition of a bridge that crosses Symphony Park Drive. When the ramp reopens, motorists will find a slight reconfiguration of the lanes entering I-15 south. Motorists should observe posted speed limits while traveling through the area.

Project Neon is a nearly $1 billion investment to widen Interstate 15 between Sahara Avenue and the Spaghetti Bowl. It includes the addition of a high-occupancy vehicle flyover as well as the reconfiguration of surface streets adjacent to the interstate.

The demolition will occur next weekend as part of Project Neon.
