Nevada Casinos See Decline in Gaming Win

CARSON CITY, Nev. - Nevada casinos won less money from gamblers in November 2012 then they did the year before.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board reports casinos won $782 million - a decline of 11 percent from $880 million in 2011.

Clark County casinos also struggled in November. Casinos in Clark County won $671 million from gamblers in November, a drop of nearly 13 percent from $771 million the year before.

For the fiscal year that started July 1, 2012, Nevada casinos have won $4.5 billion. That represents a slight increase of 1.5% from 2011.
