CARSON CITY, Nev. - Nevada casinos experienced a surge in gaming revenue in June.
The Nevada Gaming Control Board reports casinos won more than $906 million from gamblers last month, which represents a 14.36 percent increase from the year before.
Clark County casinos won more than $790 million in June - an increase of 17.33 percent from 2013. The largest increases came from casinos on the Las Vegas Strip and in North Las Vegas.
The state collected more than $43 million in fees based on the June gaming revenue. That represents an increase of 0.51 percent from 2013.
