Controversial Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy is due in U.S. District Court in Portland Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
He was arrested in Oregon late Wednesday night after flying into the Portland airport.
Bundy was booked in the Multnomah County jail by the FBI late Wednesday night. Bundy was en route to the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Burns, Oregon, where armed occupiers have been staged for weeks.
No charges were listed and his projected release date was listed as unknown.
FBI agents surrounded the refuge for hours Wednesday evening. The Associated Press reports the occupiers are planning to turn themselves into law enforcement Thursday.
Bundy was at the center of a armed standoff in Nevada with federal officials in 2014 over use of public lands.
