NLV Fire Crews Battle Fire at Craig and Lamb

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- North Las Vegas Fire Department battled a fire at a recycling plant.

According to the fire department, the fire started just before 3 p.m. Thursday at the Secured Fibres plant near Craig Road and Lamb Boulevard.

The fire was burning deep inside materials outside the business's building. It took firefighters a while to get the blaze out, a North Las Vegas Fire captain said.

The plant was evacuated. No injuries were reported.

The department said crews have been to this building at least three times in less than a year to respond to a fire call.

There is no word on the cause of the blaze.
