Attempted murder suspect wanted by NLV Police arrested in Utah

NORTH LAS VEGAS - Police in Utah arrested an attempted murder suspect late Thursday night after they were led on a chase, according to KUTV.com in Salt Lake City.

Authorities say a woman suffered serious bodily injuries after her ex-boyfriend attacked her a few days ago in North Las Vegas.

According to North Las Vegas Police, on Tuesday, Jan. 24, officers responded to the 1100 block of Egret Court in reference to a domestic disturbance. Officers found a 28-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was transported to University Medical Center Trauma. She remains hospitalized in critical condition.

The woman was attacked when she went to retrieve some of her belongings from her ex-boyfriend's house, police said. The ex-boyfriend was identified as 35-year-old Ronny Withers. He allegedly stabbed the woman multiple times before fleeing the scene.
