Officers ID'd in Boulder Highway Shooting

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police identified the officers involved in the shooting of a man in the 5300 block of Boulder Highway Saturday as David M. Denton and Theodore Richard Snodgrass III.

Terry Rogaczewski, 39, of Las Vegas was shot and wounded after police responded to a carjacking. He is facing several charges in connection with the shooting, including attempted murder, attempted robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and resisting or obstructing an officer with a weapon.

Denton, 35, has been employed with Metro since June 2001.

Snodgrass, 25, has been employed with Metro since Oct. 2008.

The officers are assigned to Metro's southeast patrol division and have been placed on routine paid administrative leave.
