One injured in Walmart parking lot shooting, shooter in custody

North Las Vegas, NV. - North Las Vegas Police say one person was critically injured in a shooting early Saturday morning.

Officers say the incident happened in a Walmart parking lot around 7:30 a.m. on the 6400 block of North Decatur Boulevard, near I-215. 

Two men were in the parking lot when one shot the other, according to investigators.

The shooting victim was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition and the suspected shooter is in police custody. 

Police say the two individuals knew each other and it was not a random act of violence.
