One person critically hurt in crash

LAS VEGAS -- One person was critically injured in a crash along Russell Road near Sandhill Road, according to Metro Police.

Police say the car was heading westbound on Russell Road at around 4:20 p.m. Monday, when the driver left the roadway and hit a light pole. All three people in the car suffered serious to critical injuries. A 60-year-old male passenger was taken to the Sunrise Hospital Trauma with life-threatening injuries.

Westbound Russell Road re-opened at 10 p.m. Monday night.
