Oregon tackle to honor 1 October victims in Las Vegas Bowl

LAS VEGAS - A Green Valley High School alum and Oregon Ducks offensive tackle will honor victims lost in the 1 October shooting.

Oregon senior Tyrell Crosby announced on Twitter of his intentions to wear jersey no. 58 when the Ducks play Boise State in Saturdays Las Vegas Bowl.

Crosby said the following, “Looking forward to PLAYING my last game wearing a number so significant to the City of Las Vegas.”

Standing at 6-foot-5, 320 pounds, Crosby attended Green Valley High and excelled at left tackle as a true freshman. He’s been a consistent player from day one and is expected to be selected high in April’s 2018 NFL Draft.

Oregon and Boise State will kickoff at 1230 p.m. with the game to be televised on ABC.
