Paramedic arrested for fondling teen having seizure

LAS VEGAS - A paramedic faces charges for allegedly fondling a seizing teen while he was supposed to be helping her, according to the New York Post.

When Jared Evans, 32, found out there was a search warrant out for his arrest, he turned himself into police. The Sacramento, California paramedic was charged with sexual battery for the incident that occurred on April 1.

The 19-year-old woman was being transported to a local hospital when Evans allegedly put his hands down the woman’s shirt and pulled out one of her breasts while she was unconscious, or at least he thought she was, the New York Post said.

Evans then reportedly put the woman’s breast back into her shirt, telling a paramedic intern, “Sorry, man, I had to.” The intern later reported the incident to a supervisor, the New York Post reports.

Evans was released from jail on $3,000 bail. He his next court appearance is set for Sept. 26.
