Person suffers life-threatening injuries after being struck by vehicle near Flamingo and Paradise

LAS VEGAS - Metro Police investigated a serious crash near Flamingo and Paradise roads Tuesday night.

According to Metro, around 6:38 p.m. a a 26-year-old man was struck by a vehicle as he was walking in the area of E. Flamingo Road and Palos Verdes Street.

Police said the victim was outside of a marked crosswalk, and was walking in front of the incoming vehicle when he was hit.

The victim was forced into the windshield and then thrown to the ground. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The 76-year-old driver remained on scene, and showed no signs of impairment.

No charges were filed against the driver.
