Police arrest man in woman's homicide

LAS VEGAS - Las Vegas Metro Police arrested 38-year-old Robert Roginsky following the death of his female roommate Thursday evening.

Police were called to a disturbance at an apartment in the 900 block of South 3rd Street near Las Vegas Boulevard and Charleston Avenue around 9 p.m. When they arrived, they found a woman dead inside the apartment. 

Roginsky, who was also in the apartment, was detained.

During an interview with police, Roginsky suffered a medical episode and was taken to the hospital where he is currently being treated. 

He is being booked in absentia at the Clark County Detention Center for one count of murder.

This is the 28th homicide investigated by Metro in 2017.
