Police Cancel Person of Interest Search in Strip Shooting

LAS VEGAS -- The woman who Metro Police said was a person of interest in the Strip shooting last week that killed three people is no longer wanted, a police spokesperson said.

Tineesha Lashun Howard, 22, is no longer being considered to be a missing person or a person of interest in the triple homicides, police said. Howard also goes by the name Yenesis Alfonzo.

On Tuesday, the police released photographs the department said were of Howard posing with Ammar Harris, 26, who is wanted in connection with the killings. All three deaths were ruled a homicide by the Clark County coroner.

However, a south Florida woman told CBS News that some of the photos are not of Howard, but instead are of her.

The investigation into this homicide remains ongoing. Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to contact Metro's Homicide Section at 702-828-3521, or to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
