Las Vegas, NV - Metro police are investigating two separate crashes that happened minutes apart from each other on Boulder Highway Saturday night.

Investigators told us that the first crash happened before 9:00 p.m. when a Metro cruiser hit a woman in her 70's near Boulder Highway and Harmon Avenue.

About  2 minutes later, Metro said a woman in her 50's was riding in a wheelchair when she was struck by a Dodge pick-up truck near Boulder Highway and Nellis Boulevard.

They also said she was struck by the truck while crossing the street. When EMS arrived to the scene she was pronounced dead according to investigators.
