LAS VEGAS -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan is hoping someone can identify individuals whose images were captured on a security camera around the same time a man was shot outside a convenience store over the weekend.
Clark County coroner's officials say 28-year-old Juan Edward Cervantes died of gunshot wounds after the incident Saturday evening at the corner of 21st Street and Elm Avenue.
Investigators say Cervantes and his wife were confronted by a group at a convenience store, then encountered the same group again as they walked out of the store. Someone opened fire on Cervantes, who was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police are looking for three Hispanic males and a Hispanic female, all between the ages of 15 and 21. One of the males was seen wearing a black-and-white cap, while another was wearing a red cap. Police say the female suspect has long, dark hair.
Anyone with information is asked to call Metro's Homicide Section at 828-3521 or to remain anonymous contact CrimeStoppers by phone at (702)385-5555 or online at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
