Police make arrest in woman's Jan. 25 shooting death

LAS VEGAS - Las Vegas Metro Police have arrested a 43-year-old man in connection with the shooting death of a woman on Jan. 25 in an eastside neighborhood.

Police arrested Lun Simon. He was booked into Clark County Detention Center on charges of murder with the use of a deadly weapon.

Simon is accused of killing Jasmine Rochell Haley, who was found dead in a home in the 3500 block of Morning Mist Drive, on Jan. 25, 2017. She had been shot.

According to police, there had been a gathering of people at the home prior to the shooting. Haley's roommate left the home and when she returned, she found Haley dead.
