A man was shot and killed in front of a home in the southeast, according to Metro Police.

Officers said they received a call about a shooting in the 2900 block of Kennewick Drive near E. Desert Inn Road and McLeod Drive around 1:33 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man in his 40s lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to Sunrise Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The suspects had already fled the scene before they arrived, police said.  Police said the suspects, a man and a woman, were sitting outside the home in a silver pickup truck before the shooting happened.

Police said witnesses say they heard the two males screaming and arguing with each other before shots were fired from the silver pickup truck.

No word on what caused the shooting.

This is a developing story.
