Police Report Identifies Nightclub Shooting Victim

LAS VEGAS --  The police report on the shooting at Drai's nightclub in Bally's Hotel and Casino identifies the patron who was killed as Kenneth Brown.

The shooting occurred Monday morning at the nightclub and resulted in three people being shot, including Brown, who was killed after he wrestled and tackled the alleged gunman, Benjamin Frazier, to the ground.

According to the arrest report, Frazier shot Brown twice, once in the upper chest and once in the neck.

Police say Frazier became upset when he could not get a refund on his cover charge of $30. He pulled out a .38 caliber revolver and shot the doorman in the arm and a security guard in the stomach, the report said.

Frazier did suffer a head injury when he was tackled to the ground and remains hospitalized in a coma, according to a family member.

Police say Frazier will be booked into the Clark County Detention Center upon his release on charges of attempted murder and murder.
