Police searching for an armed robbery suspect who threatened 2 children

LAS VEGAS - Police are on the hunt for a man they say robbed a mother and her two children at gunpoint. Investigators hope you can help identify him. 

The incident happened on January 24th at about 7 a.m. in the victim's driveway in the area of Tropical Parkway and Tenaya Way. 

According to Metro investigators, the white male suspect approached the mother who was placing her two kids into her car. Armed with a handgun, he demanded her property and threatened to harm the children. 

After taking the victim's belongings, the suspect took off in a gray Hyundai two-door car, said police. The suspect was seen driving the Hyundai and also a dark colored Ford or Toyota pickup truck in the area. 

Detectives hope to identify this suspect who is described as a white male adult in his 30’s, thin build, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing about 170 pounds. In this robbery, the suspect wore a fake orange beard to disguise his appearance.
