Police Seeking Clues in Woman's Death

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police detectives are seeking clues in the death of a woman whose body was found in an alleyway near the intersection of 10th Street and Stewart Avenue in downtown Las Vegas.

According to police, the woman's body was found about 7:25 p.m. Thursday. She is described as a white woman, about 55 years old, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium to heavy build, red hair and a scar on her left shoulder.

Her identity and cause of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
